Photo Shoots
And no summer is complete without some beautiful photos to show for it! We love a good photo shoot and so do our campers and their parents! We’ll be sending home beautiful and professional photos of some of our best moments throughout the entire summer!
Mixed
Martial Arts
Practice a variety of martial arts every Tuesday! Incorporating basic self defense maneuvers including striking and kicking, with the fun twist of games and activities! We will be hosting professional MMA teachers for a 1 hour techniques class and for 1 hour of martial arts games and activities every Tuesday!
Outdoor Sports & Activities
We begin everyday with 1 hour of outdoor sports and incorporate outdoor activity time into all of our summer programs! Our campers can expect to learn and play many sports throughout the summer such as flag football, soccer baseball and dodgeball, and participate in activities such as wheelbarrow races, egg sprints, obstacle courses and much more!
Face Painting!
We love face painting and so do our campers! Bringing some of their favorite characters and cultures to life, along with the spirit it brings out of them! We’ll be doing face painting all summer long and especially during our carnival week, giving them a professional photoshoot to go along with it!
Spidey Yoga!
Yoga and mindfulness is an important part of anybody's routine despite their age, but our campers especially really seem to love it! Helping them bring better awareness to their emotions and actions, once we began yoga it quickly became a part of our everyday programming and now we even encourage our parents to join!
Field Trips!
Field trips and excursions are the best tools to provide campers with their world experiences. Campers will embark on weekly themed excursions all summer and visit places such as:
Center Island
The Ontario Science Center
Ripley's Aquarium
Canada's Wonderland
The Toronto Zoo
Wild Waterworks
And Many More!
Arts & Crafts
Our arts and crafts program focuses on developing creativity and exploring different forms of visual arts. Campers will have the opportunity to unlock their artistic talents in a wide range of arts based projects and imaginative activities to help critical thinking skills and self expression all while having lots of fun!
Pizza Lunch Fridays!
Every Friday is pizza lunch day! It gives all of our campers something extra special to look forward to on Fridays and our parents a much needed break from making lunches! Cheese and Pepperoni are always on the menu and we even include juices and snacks to go along with it!
Contests
We love a little friendly competition here at Maple Leaf Summer Camp as we believe it's important that our campers have the ability to show off their skills!
Our contests teach our campers how to be humble in the face of tough competition, and to never give up when things are difficult!
