A Very Maple Leaf Summer
I’m Matt, your Camp Director here at Maple Leaf Summer Camp!
I am pleased to say we have put together one of the most unique, fun and inclusive summer camps around. From our activities and excursions, to our weekly themes, programming and the staff that brings it all together, Maple Leaf Summer Camp is set to make your campers share in a summer unlike any other!
Our Team
Our team is the heart of Maple Leaf Summer Camp.
We carefully choose people who not only know how to lead and support kids, but who genuinely love being part of the camp experience. From big laughs and silly moments to structure, care, and encouragement, our staff create an environment where campers feel comfortable, included, and excited to show up each day.
Our Approach & The Camp Experience
At Maple Leaf Summer Camp, everything starts with our attention.

We put a great deal of thought into how camp should feel for each of our campers, the energy of the day, the flow of activities, and the balance between structure and fun. Our goal is to create an environment that feels engaging and new with a consistently high quality, year after year.
Safety & Care
We provide a safe, welcoming camp environment where campers feel supported and cared for.
With a 15:1 camper-to-counsellor ratio (on-site) and a 5:1 - 10:1 (off-site), campers receive consistent guidance and attention throughout the day. All staff members have completed criminal background checks, Standard First Aid, and CPR training, and bring multiple years of experience working with children. The safety, well-being, and comfort of our campers and staff are always our top priority.
Communication & Transparency
We believe parents should always be informed from small bumps and scrapes to anything that requires closer attention. Our team is attentive throughout the day, regularly checking in on campers, encouraging water and shade breaks and adjusting plans based on weather, energy levels, and individual needs.​ By staying observant, responsive, and communicative, we’re able to support campers thoughtfully while keeping parents informed and at ease.
